The Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics was established in the year 2015 and we cater to a huge load of patients seeking treatment for various dental diseases like caries, pulpal and periradicular diseases, developmental malformations of teeth, traumatized teeth and emergency management of dental pain.
We impart meticulous teaching and training in academics, research and patient management for undergraduate students. The department is endowed with dedicated and well-trained faculty comprising of a Professor, four Assistant Professors and three Senior Residents having numerous publications in various national and international journals and other ongoing research activities.
We aim to expand our department with a well-equipped post-graduate clinic with microsurgical endodontic unit thereby catering to a larger proportion of patients with advanced treatment needs and providing a state of art facility for all.
The department of conservative Dentistry and Endodontics is fully functional on all days except Sunday. We cater to an average of more than 150 patients and do treatment procedures for around 50 patients on a day-to-day basis. Clinic is fully equipped with modern electrically operated dental chairs, light curing units, magnifying loupes; rotary endodontics for fast and efficient single visit endodontics and thermoplasticized obturation system for three-dimensional root canal filling.

We have a well-equipped preclinical lab with phantom head units for simulated clinical exercises and training for manipulation of dental materials for undergraduate students. Regular theory and practical classes, seminars, clinical demonstrations and periodic internal assessments are being conducted for students from first year to final year part II. Meticulous clinical training is imparted to third year and final year students by qualified and committed faculty.
